First period after lap

So, just had my first period after my lap was done 2 weeks ago. It was totally normal, had terrible nausea and felt like shit leading up too and during, (which is normal for me), but no pain that patacetamol couldnt fix and medium flow. I was expecting to be in agony and bleeding everywhere!

Anyone else had this? I know i should be releived and grateful but just cant understand how ive got away with having a normal period so soon after?
