Two Days Until Lap. 20 yrs of in my head?

2 days until lap, and it all I can think about.. after 20yrs if feeling like everything has been in my head, I weirdly hope they find something. Over 20 years, by different clinicians, I've been suspected of IC, Crohn's Disease, PCOS, even appendicitis. But whatever was going on with my body, after all definitive tests, it was never those things. I hope I get an answer. I feel like I could move forward if I really knew what was wrong.

Hey, I know exactly how you’re feeling, I had my lap on Friday and I was so worried about them not finding anything. The consultant will talk to you about the possibility of not finding anything and what they’ll look for next. In my case they did find some endo and they burned it away, very sore right now! Think of it this way, either way you’ll get some answers, if it’s not endo you can cross it off the list and look into the possibility of it being something else.

Just how I was feeling a few weeks back. But after 18yrs I finally got a diagnosis of endometriosis. Really hope they track down the cause of whatever is causing your problems. All the best with your surgery 👍
