Hello, i read wondering if anyone experiences feeling generally unwell like a viral infection, swollen glands and mouth ulcers towards the end of their period? I swear it is connected and my consultant thinks it may be when the oestrogen dips but he doesn't know for sure. Having that aswell as feeling awful with my period is getting too much for me to handle each month. Has anyone experienced similar and been given treatment / advice on how to stop it or improve your immune system?
Thank you x

I've constantly got a cold, cough, sore throat and headaches! Doesn't matter if it's 30°C outside or 2°C I'm ill..It's my immune system..it's totally had it and I have no idea what to take to improve it! So I no how your feeling! x
Hey, how are you? My immune system was very low but when I start to eat daily honey with nettle seeds ( 2 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon nettle seeds) that winter illness non exist.
It seems to me you have a really weak immune system. You might want to boost your diet on fruits and vegies. Pay attention to your water in take and get enough rest. Have you been stressed lately?
I know this is an older post but I found using a good quality multivitamin containing selenium really helped me. I always feel like I'm coming down with flu when my endometriosis has been bad. My glands get swollen and I do sometimes get mouth ulcers. Selenium supports your immune system and is actually used to treat endo in cattle (I've read). I've noticed a difference in my overall health since starting it.
