Does anyone get the feeling of heaviness in their lower stomach and dull achey feeling?
It feels like the pain I get a few days before my period but it’s already been. Anyone know what’s causing this sensation?

Hiya! Yes definitely, my main symptom was bloating, but on my left lower abdomen I would of experienced a heavy feeling, doc kept telling me it was my bowel 🙄 but it was the endo right across my pelvis, with majority on my left side, so I’m guessing that’s why I felt it x
It’s all across my lower stomach like just above my pubic bone. It feels as though something heavy is sitting on me 🙄 an endo specialist thinks I have pelvic endometriosis, so maybe that’s causing this feeling xx
I get this a lot, like a pushing/pulling feeling or fullness in my lower stomach. I used to think it was my uterus falling out but my doctor just says it could be bowel related without a proper explanation.
Hope you figure out what's causing it for you and hopefully you'll feel better soon xxx
I get this exact feeling in this exact place and was also told it’s my bowel but I know it’s not. I’m having a lap Monday so hopefully will have some answers x
Good luck for your lap, I’m still waiting for mine 🙄 even worse waiting as I’m so nervous for it.
It doesn’t feel like it’s my bowel as the area is kinda swollen all the time and tender to touch xx
This was one of my main symptoms that made me go to my Gp almost 2 years ago, when I pointed to the area he said oh that’s your bowel and I said instantly no this is gynaecological. I do get bowel symptoms but my gastroenterologist believes i May have endo on the outside of my bowel. Sometimes just above my pubic bone feels like it’s radiating heat along with the heavy feeling.
Do you have a date for your lap yet? Don’t be nervous, just try to think it will give you more definitive answers, as we know how hard they are to get with this sneaky horrible condition. I’m more worried about the recovery rather than the actual lap xx
Not yet, it’s a really long wait here and I think recovery will be okay for me as it gives me an excuse to kind of relax and take it easy haha. I’m constantly on the go atm.
When 2 different gynaes touched the area (one was an endo specialist) they said they felt tenderness and adnexal tenderness and to this day I still don’t know what it means haha apart from it’s something to do with the uterus and ovaries etc. Xx
I get this too and thought it was bowel related. My laparoscopy was not too long ago so the only endo remaining is between my bladder and my uterus
No, I don’t really remember it being a problem before the lap. It’s only really come on the last few weeks to be honest
Hey, I have this exact feeling right now, and have taken myself off to bed at 7.30pm.😞 I’m on approx day 13 of my cycle, so period defo been and gone. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this. Last time was 2 months ago, and that was really bad. Always the swelling, the heavy feeling, the achy/pain really low down, but tender and uncomfortable all over my tummy to be honest. Makes me feel pretty wiped out too, don’t have any energy to do anything. My only concern is what if my ovaries are playing up, as its right after ovulation for me. I had a scan in Jan, so I’m hoping not. It’s horrible isn’t it. My lap last year (Sept ‘17) didn’t say bowel at all (or ovaries), my endo was on my uterus and sacro ligaments. But god knows why the bloat/pain/swelling keeps coming back.😔
