Constant mid cycle bleeding

Hi, just looking for some advice.

For the past 3/4 months I am having pretty much constant mid cycle bleeding. This initially started out around ovulation but in the last couple months I feel like I'm just constantly bleeding, to the point I'm finding it difficult to know what bleeding is my period and what isn't.

Unlike other posts I've seen on here, my bleeding is not dark brown (although a few months ago it did start like this). This blood is bright red and never seems to let up even when taking Tranexamic Acid. Since the 1st Sept out of 45 days I've bled for 32. Some days with clots, apologies for TMI.

I have severe endo with 2 large endometriomas along with patches of endo pretty much all over. I've not had a lap as I was advised against this as I wanted to try and conceive. The consultant was dismissive of the bleeding and said it's down to endo but I'm worried that the bleeding is getting worse. Does this mean my endo is getting worse/spreading? Where Is this blood coming from? Any advise welcome xx

Hi I am the same... however this has only started since I had my surgery to remove alot of endo. After I've had the mid cycle bleed (proper period like bleeding for about 3 or 4 days) my period bleed comes late.

I have no idea what it is and my gynae is performing a hysteroscopy (anyone know what this is like as I will be awake and am really worried about this) to see if it gives me any answers. It does it come months and not others for me so no real pattern. Very annoying tho. If I get any more info I will post on here x

Hiya, thanks for replying.

So sorry to hear you are going through something similar, it really is horrible.

I've never heard of a hysteroscopy before but I really hope it does give you answers, especially as you have had a lap already which you would have thought would have sorted everything.

Yes please keep us posted. Hopefully someone has some answers and good luck xx
