Fibroids and Endo?

Hi all,

Just had an ultrasound as a precursor to a laparoscopy to look for endo. They found four or five fibroids about two inches diameter.

What’s worrying me is that the doctor said that they probably wouldn’t do anything else now, and prob try medications. I’ve already had lots of medications and still feel that it might be endo.

Anyone here with experience if fibroids and endo- is it common to have both? Feeling pretty down as I though I was getting somewhere and don’t want to be put back on tablets / the pill etc.

I had both fibroids and endo. I had an 8 hour surgery in 2016 to excise endo and remove 2 large fibroids (6cm and 12cm) via myomectomy. I have a small C-section type scar across my knicker line. Prior to surgery I had 3 months worth of Esmya, a drug which shrinks fibroids. I know it's expensive, but maybe worth asking about?

I still have lots of small fibroids, but they don't do anything about them if they're below a certain size.
