Has anyone has pain related to their symptoms in the hips and lower back (kidneys)?
I’ve been experiencing a lot of joint pain in these areas particularly and in my knees. Not sure if it’s related...?

I experience pain in my lower back/kidney area as you described & also experience joint pain in the run-up week to my period / during. I've recently had Endo removed from my bowel, so I am presuming this is where the back pain could be coming from.
I just take regular ibuprofen for the joint pain & take it easy as possible. For the kidney pain I've found hot water bottles, soaks in the bath & getting my partner to gently massage my lower back usually eases the pain. I hope this helps x
At time of monthlys it becomes inflamed and hurts muscles bones.
I had hip back and knee pain everyday for months before my surgery. Since, ill get it occasionaly but not as bad.
I have the same.
I've found out through my physio and specialist that the core due to endo becomes unstable (including surgeries) therefore the back compensates resulting in lower back pain as all this becomes rigid. This in turn inflames the glutes and piriformis muscles (buttocks and hips) which results in leg pain, bottom / sacral pain, kidney location pain, hip pain, etc. It then affects our posture and thus can result in other pains such as neck / shoulder pain and headaches.
I didn't realise this but since then I have started seeing a physiotherapist and a posture / mobility specialist to look at manipulating my lower back to loosen muscles and improve flexibility with exercises to actually notice and engage my core so I can better hold my posture thus reduce the muscle aches.
I don't know why physio isn't suggested as a treatment option for those sorts of pains or even that we're made aware that endo symptoms can affect our core. I didn't realise how much it affects it. Definitely recommend seeing a physio or a mobility specialist
