Hello Everyone

I haven’t posted anything in this group for more than 4 years. First of all I’d like to thank people that sets up this platform because I was at my lowest when I googled Endometrosis and found this group. I was at my lowest and contemplating suicide before I joined this group years ago. LET ME GIVE YOU A BACK STORY I was diagnosed with Endometrosis nearly a decade ago in my late 20s. My Endometrosis was severe that treatment was started same week I was diagnosed, I didn’t know what the condition was about I was given 6 zoladex and surgery. Zoladex put me in menopause and stayed in my system for 5 and half years. We went through fertility testing which was always bad news and we were meant to start treatments in 2 months, but because of my stress and emotional well-being I cancelled the treatment because I was scared that if I don’t get a baby after IVF I would kill myself. I MADE A VOW TO PROVE DOCTORS WRONG. I started doing research into vitamins and Chinese medicine, I spent a lot on vitamins and Chinese medicines. Then I accepted that I might not be a biological mother and I focused my attention on other things and suddenly my period started with little pain and nearly 2 years after my period started I CONCEIVED NATURALLY. The pregnancy was easy and smooth so is the labour. Now we have a blessing that is nearly 2 years and also pregnant with another one all with the help of God, no stress, education about the condition, vitamins, pregnare conception with folic acid. Looking back now to the day my doctor gave me the percentage of 5% chance of having a baby naturally if I had gone ahead to kill myself I will not be here today to share my story with you all. PLEASE DON’T LET DOCTORS AND YOUR DIAGNOSIS MAKE YOU QUESTION YOUR STRENGTH AND SANITY. YOU ARE ALL STRONG AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO CAN RISE ABOVE ENDOMETROSIS AND INFERTILITY JUST LIKE I DID. Good luck ladies and I appreciate you all.

I really appreciate your post. I'm so glad to hear you took control of your health and it has been a positive outcome for you.

I haven't even tried to conceive as I'm completely disabled by my symptoms of fatigue mainly but also back pain. I've been needed around so much by the Dr's and they eventually came to a diagnosis and treatment plan last week, which was zoladex for 6 months and then 'we'll see'. After researching zoladex and learning I was looking at pretty bleak outcomes with the treatment, I felt so low. It was also my 40th birthday and I don't actually think I've ever felt more depressed. I just felt my life was pointless. Now, it's a week later and I've done a lot of research and I feel I've got a plan. I'm speaking to a naturopath tomorrow and I'm looking into natural ways to manage estrogen dominance. I'm also getting tested for that. I now feel I've got a plan that feels much more sensible than what the Dr offered me. It's so good to hear a positive story from someone else who took charge of their own health and did things their own way.

I'm open to Chinese medicine too so will keep that in mind.

Thank you. X

The fatigue comes with Endometrosis combined with all the pains people called me names saying that I was faking my symptoms. WHO FAKES BEING IN PAIN? Just get through this phase of zoladex then go on vitamins. 😉 Good luck
