Had one injection of zoladex and decided not to continue the course. It has been 9 weeks now and still no period. My and husband are now trying for a baby which doctor said is fine but I forgot to ask if you can get pregnant even though I haven’t had a period since being off zoladex?
Any advice please ladies x

I have just found out I am pregnant. My doctor said you can get pregnant even though u haven’t had a period it is just hard to date the pregnancy. So I went with her advice and now I’m pregnant
The official advice is that Zoladex can take 6-10 weeks (although for some individuals a little longer) to work its way out of your system if you have been prescribed the drug for 6 months or less. You should definitely have a chat to your GP or prescribing specialist about exact timings, but usually you are advised to wait for your cycle to reestablish itself before you start trying to conceive. So I’d give them a ring Monday as ask for their advice.
I had spoke to my doctor on Thursday when I had my coil out.
She said that even though I hadn’t had a period I could start trying now. As it’s been 9 weeks and I only had one injection she said that I would only need to wait for a period as it’s easier to date a pregnancy then. She seemed to think I could still get pregnant even though I haven’t had a period since having zoladex. :/
