Symptoms - endo-related or not?!

Hi, this is my first time on the site and I've already found it so helpful reading through some of the other posts and replies.

I was diagnosed with endo last May, following a trip to A&E with a misdiagnosed kidney infection/query appendicitis/query gall stones! Nothing showed on scans but when they decided to open me up they found stage 4 endo with frozen pelvis. Had tissue removed from around my uterus, bladder, and top of bowel which had started to connect to my diaphragm. Post surgery I had 6 months of decapeptyl injections. I've been off any treatment now since January apart from pain relief.

I have always suffered with chronic migraines and depression, since my early teens, but with 3 chronic conditions now I'm not sure which symptoms are associated with each one!

Currently, I feel...

Exhausted every day, all day; I want to sleep too much and never feel refreshed

I ache all over every day, particularly when I wake up

I have a constant headache, which usually doesn't quite reach migraine levels, but is nonetheless painful, with pressure particularly around my temples

I feel nauseous most of the time; sometimes dizzy and faint

I get chronic low level pain in my lower back, around kidney height

I have stitch-like pain in my lower ribs, particularly the right side, which gets quite intense particularly after i eat a meal, a feeling of tightness all around my thorax/chest area so that it feels effortful to breathe deeply, as well as pain in my right shoulder

I get intermittent lower abdominal pain, which is worse around that time of the month, accompanied by alternating constipation and diarrhoea symptoms...

I'm desperate to have a family with my partner, so am not currently taking any hormonal treatment for the endo, although I am trying to accept that this is unlikely to happen without IVF. My doctor has not recommended any preventative/maintenance treatment for my migraines which would be suitable should i be lucky enough to conceive; I have tried increasing my antidepressant without any effect; I take but try to minimise use of naproxen, and other analgaesics give me terrible side effects.

I went to the gp to seek help recently. He has attributed the tiredness and headaches etc to depression, and prescribed me ranitidine to help with the pain after eating. He ordered blood tests which I am waiting for the results of, to see if I am anaemic etc. But he generally dismissed any suggestions I made attributing any of the symptoms to the endometriosis. I was under a gynae consultant following surgery and during treatment, but I'm not sure that I am still open to him as we agreed I was going to take some time out to try to conceive, and my gp has not offered to re-refer me.

Advice, or opinions very welcomed!!!

Thank you, Viky
