hi ladies. just wondered if anyone has had similar experience with cerazette. its my 1st month of taking the pill and my period just wont stop, bleeding heavily & clotting for 6days straight & is getting worse with chronic back pain. i know everyone is different and it can take a long time to settle down, but this is becoming unbearable!

I took this years ago....I remember it took a little while to settle and then it was great for about 5 years but suddenly I started bleeding virtually all the time and the pain and sickness was so bad. So I changed onto Levonorgestrel and I’ve been on that for about 3 years now and find it’s much better. I think it can take 3-6 months to settle initially on any of these pills/coil/etc so it depends whether you can cope a little longer the way you are. If it’s really too unbearable I’d go back to your doc and ask for something else. Sending you big hugs, hope your symptoms ease soon x

I've taken Cerazette since June and feel worse by the day. I've had a few ovarian cysts (one of them ruptured in July and the other is being monitored by my gyn before she puts me on something else). Spotting has been really painful and the gyn said it's prob the blood that gets into my pelvis, so it's like having a period again. I eat less (lack of appetite), exercise more than before but have still gone up a few sizes (from 2-4 to 8). On the upside, my skin is prima. Guess Cerazette is like Marmite - you either love it or hate it. Lots of hugs and hope you feel better soon xx
