Hey everyone,

Hey everyone,

Peppermint tea! It helped so much for me after my lap. That, and keeping up with my painkillers. I alternated paracetamol and ibuprofen every four hours for the first few days and that seemed to help, along with the tea.
I bought some windeeze for after my lap last month and honestly I didn't suffer with hardly any gas pains like I have after previous laps (not endo related) x
Thank you! I will deffo give both of those a try!
In addition to what's already been suggested, for me, massaging around the area and taking long deep breaths helped. As did trying to get up and move, which is obviously not easy but I think just getting upright rather than lying can help.
Hopefully it won't be as bad this time though. Good luck 🤞🏻
The thing that helped me was one of those rice-filled things that you microwave that go around your neck – I also drank peppermint tea but not sure if it helped.
Yes about 3 days before started taking holland and barratt extra strength peppermint capsules and took them to hosp with me and as soon as i came round took them.
Plus ginger beer. Didnt suffer at all with it... hope it work for u
All these suggestions are wonderful! Thank you all so much! Not dreading the lap so much now! X
