How to deal with nausea with endometriosis?

I was diagnosed with endo May last year and have never really experienced nausea as a symptom until the last few days. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this aspect of endo? I already follow a low-fodmap diet to reduce bloating.

Hi, I am the same as you in terms of being diagnosed with endometriosis since last year. All I can suggest is to drink plenty of water to cleanse your system. You could also try camomile and ginger and lemon tea as these can ease your stomach and free you from any toxins in your body. Try adding lemon to a nice cool glass of water. This also cleanses your system too! I would also suggest keeping a daily journal of foods you eat as you may be eating something that you do not agree with.

Good luck and I hope you will feel better soon!

Great advice! I'll try it out - I do love tea, so should be easy to incorporate into my day! I'll definitely start putting more ginger in my food too to see if that helps.

Thanks for responding! I hope you're doing well 💛

Thanks! And no worries. I like offering any advice, support and my experience on this matter! :) I would love to say that I am well but dealing with endometriosis pain everyday is not so good! :( I am due to have surgery in two weeks time so I am hoping all will go well!

I understand. It's nice that this is a place where we don't have to pretend to be okay when someone asks us. Good luck with your surgery! I hope it all goes well and you have an easy, speedy recovery ✨

I also find peppermint tea helps when my nausea is really bad.

As said ginger can help (I drank lots of ginger cordial after my last lap). I've also tried acupressure bands on my wrists for travel sickness in the past with some success. If it gets too much ask your GP for a prescription of ondansetron which is what I have now.

Oh, interesting! I'll look into the bands and keep note of the ondansetron for if it persists! Thank you for your response! I hope your meds are working well for you. Nausea can be so tough 💛

It’s so nice to see all these beautiful ladies giving advice to one another! Its just so amazing! Having read all of the above the reason why you get nausea it’s not because of the food you are eating or toxins it’s rather the intensity of the pain that your body can’t take it blood pressure goes down and then inevitably you feel nauseous 🤢it’s just all very difficult for women like us because many of the symptoms we feel it’s due to endometriosis, for me drinking plenty of water and and mint chewing gum was the trick sugar levels up blood pressure so having a sweet in my mouth helped a little bit...

I hope you find the best solution, the more advice we give the more we can help each other. 💛💛💛💛💛
