Lap recovery

Hi ladies, so good to see this community. Was just wondering if anyone else has experienced lethargy after their op and how long it lasts. It’s my 3rd op but can’t remember how I felt after the other 2. I had a 13cm cyst and tube, some endo and adhesions removed last week. It took so many years to be diagnosed. I completely changed my diet, so strongly support that. I paid privately to see an endo specialist as NHS gave up on me. He said I was an ‘enigma’ as had ‘frozen pelvis’ (chronic endo), but no pain. I put that down to diet and exercise. Xxx

I felt very lethargic after my op and I only had minor bits of Endo removed, so it’s completely normal that you feel this way. I couldn’t even walk up the stairs with out getting out of breathe! It takes a while for the inside of you to heal aswell, the body takes time to recover from such a shock x

Thanks for your reply. I can’t remember how long it took to get back to normal after my first lap. Can’t believe my tummy is still so swollen, can’t wear any jeans/trousers. Hoping that doesn’t take to long to go down! Not very patient but like you say the body takes time to recover xx
