Feels like morning sickness!

I had my first shot on Friday and have also started taking HRT. Am feeling horrendous! I feel heavy and extremely nauseous. Huge loss of appetite and lacking any motivation.

Please tell me that this will pass girls. I am only on a 3 month course before I have a full or partial hysterectomy in October, but I can’t spend 3months like this!!!!🤢😢

Hello. What was the shot? Is it prostrap? If so I had this monthly for four months prior to my total hysterectomy with no hrt. It is awful. I felt low, tired, no appetite and the hot flushes were horrendous. My Consultant told me to put up with it as he was trying to see if it helped my endometriosis pain. Unfortunately it didn’t as it was too severe.

The side effects are awful but believe me you would feel so much worse with no hrt.

Good luck!!

Katrina 😀

I started my HRT after my hysterectomy but the first weekend on it was awful, severe nausea to the point I put a bucket by the bed! It did settle and no issues now.
