Dizzy/Sickness/Stiff joints - struggling !

I was diagnosed with endo 9 years ago, I’ve had two laps since then which have really help. I am on the pill currently and haven’t had a period for over a year when I started my new pill - which is when I get most of my pain. I have other symptoms which are continuous - IBS, migraines, depression etc.

I have recently (about a year ago) started getting dizziness and sickness regularly which the dr put down to vertigo and gave me stemetil. I can’t do anything when I feel like this and the medication doesn’t seem to help.

I also have been getting really bad joint pains.. like stiffness and aching.

My other symptoms like IBS have gotten worse over the last year or so as well.

I am worried that this is due to not having periods or something as this is the only change that has happened that I can think of to bring on these symptoms.

Just wondered if anyone else had the same / similar or had any advice for me?

It’s quite upsetting at the moment because I often can’t work and am struggling to do things because of it. It’s scary feeling this way and not knowing why!

Thanks x

I’ve been getting dizziness for years. I worked out it is linked to my cycle as worse when ovulating/menstruating. But not found anything that helps yet. But hormone meds make it worse. It is a symptom of Endo albeit an uncommon one. After referral to bgse they confirmed it’s Endo/hormonal imbalance. It took years before they confirmed it. Only way I cope is too lie down until I feel better and move slowly. Sickness is Endo too try go get capsules or tea for it.

It’s awful isn’t it ! After reading the replies I decided to push to find out what was wrong and I’ve found out I have PCOS as well. So I’m now trying to manage my symptoms with support from the doctor!

Thank you for your reply x

Hey,

I was getting dizziness and nausea (couldn't finish a meal) and I'd put it down to endo. In the end a GP did some blood tests and it turned out I had a B12 deficiency. In retrospect my symptoms all made sense to be B12 deficiency, as I was also turning a strange yellow hue. Maybe ask for some blood tests if you haven't explored that already?

I was tested for B12 after reading your reply. The tests came back normal. However this made the doctor send me for an ultrasound which they found I have PCOS as well. So thank you for your advice - I’m now getting the help I needed! X

I'm so glad you pushed for some tests, sorry to hear its PCOS on top of the endo. I don't know why it has to be such a fight but glad you're getting treatment, take care x
