Morning sickness but not pregnant

Good morning ladies!

I'm probably posting this under the wrong forum but just wondered if anyone has experiences the same thing.

I wake up every morning feeling extremely nauseous, which lasts for a couple hours.

I can't eat or drink anything first thing, and when I do it makes the nausea worse, I've mentioned to my doctor before and they disregarded it. I'm not I a relationship or anything and I know I'm 100% not pregnant so I can't understand why I always feel sick when I wake up or around certain smells and foods.

I'm wondering if it's from the tablets I'm on, I take the mini pill, co codamol and 3 medenamc tablets per day; sometimes only 1 or two depending on how many meals I have that day, so I was wondering if it's almost withdrawal symptoms from the tablets because you have to take them with food.. (Or so I was told by the dr and on the box)

Anyone have the same feelings in the morning / throughout the day? Not sure how to manage it, but it's such an awful feeling :(

Hi. I always had that prior to total hysterectomy. I once shocked my consultant by coming right out with "apart from the obvious, what causes morning sickness?". He said it could be caused by cysts on the ovary. Turns out I had multiple on my left one.

Hi I was like it too before mine, always wondered why. So thank you i now know why. I had a 11cm endometrioma on my left ovary.

I did not have cyst but I also had morning sickness, to the point I can't brush my teeth, before I had my surgery. It is all gone now.

Oh wow, I have poly cystic ovaries, so perhaps that's causing me the morning sickness feeling as I've been told I have multiple small dominant follicles on my ovaries.. I feel I need more tests and imaging though..

I am prescribed antisickness tablets because I get so queasy. Have done for years. Smells, travelling all sorts make it worse but yer its awful. I find things like ginger and peppermint do help, I try not to take the antisickness tablets too much as they seem to become less effective x

I find chewing gum or mints sometimes help me as they're minty, might try anti sickness tablets for long distance travelling as I am also over worrying that I'll be sick especially when it's so hot and crowded :(

I take co-codamol and it always makes me nauseous. Last Friday was the worst ever. I wanted to be sick and my colleagues noticed how ill I looked. I always carry some ginger oat biscuits to nibble on or lemon and ginger tea I find helps even though I really don't feel like having anything. Hope yours eases x

I have been off co-codamol for about 2wks.. the nausea has still been there so I'm not sure if it's withdrawal or not. I need to start taking them again as the pain is getting worse, so I'll see how I get on.

I don't like ginger, but ready salted crisps etc help me, even though I hate them :( just going to have to try little techniques to ease it off and see if I can find the root cause for it :( hope you're doing well. xxx
