I've just found out I'm pregnant, very early about 4weeks. I had a lap done in Feb 2018 where I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I've had 2 previous miscarriages so obviously I'm a little worried. Just wondering what I need to ask my GP or anything I may need to have tested additionally?

Firstly congratulations. I saw gp early and went to the early pregnancy unit at 7 weeks. I’m glad I did as my first was a difficult pregnancy with lots of pain & morning sickness throughout. My second was an ectopic which can be an issue with endo. I would say you e just had a lap so hopefully adhesion are minimal at the mo.

With your miscarriages I’m sure they said to get checked early anyway. GP won’t do anything special for your endometriosis but will write it down on the midwife referral. They say you shouldn’t have endo pain or problems when pregnant! I did & first 3-4 months I had terrible pains were I believe the endo was being stretched. Everyone is different.

Good Luck and 🤞you have a little buddle of joy growing well.

Thankyou for your reply.

I'm hoping that cause I had a lap in Feb that my uterus is in a much better position than before when I had the miscarriage.

Obviously it's been impossible to get a doctor's appt 🙄 but thankyou for your advice x
