7 months ago I posted on here that I had been diagnosed with endometriosis. I had been trying for a baby since Jan 2017. I was devastated
I did a pregnancy test last week and it said pregnant!!! I went to my dr that day and I couldn’t believe it! Did a urine test and yes I am pregnant!!! I can’t believe it ! Overwhelmed beyond belief and scared at the same time!! Dr said that endometriosis can cause/lead to a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy so i am a mixture of emotions now!!!! Any advice much appreciated xxx it’s my 1st and I am 44 so I am really worried xxx

I had a similar experience and got told i needed major surgery to get any chance of getting pregnant. 2 weeks later I realised I hadn’t come on. I had a lot of pain the first 3/4 months but was advised it was my endo causing it. Must admit I needed a c-section but otherwise healthy baby who’s now 7.
I went to early pregnancy unit at 8 weeks as I was having pain & was worried. They helped reassure me & showed me a little dot which was amazing to see. They can’t really see anything earlier than that.
I hope it’s all ok for you, they become so treasured & everytime I look at her I feel so blessed.
Congratulations!! I hope everything goes well for you will they scan you early because of the endo? I know I have to be scanned at 6 weeks because I've had an ectopic pregnancy before (not endo related). It might be worth trying to get an early scan as it might help you to worry less.
Oh no! I know how you feel. I had an ectopic last October and a miscarriage last week. If it's only a tiny bleed then hopefully it's nothing to worry about. Bleeding in early pregnancy is really common. Both times I've lost a baby there's been a lot of blood more like a proper period and it's lasted over a week so fingers crossed for you 🤞
Just be sure to keep mentioning the fact you have endo to the midwives and those who will be helping you through this exciting time.
But please.....enjoy this. You have waited so long for it, be aware but also let the proffessionals do the worrying (if there needs to be worry) you just concentrate on you and your babies happiness right now. X
Congratulations.on pregnancy. I was diagnosed with endo about 6 years ago. I now have 2 children who are nearly 2 & 3 both conceived naturally. I was also worried about endo during pregnancy but both pregnancies were successful x
I had stage 1 when i was diagnosed but it was about 5 years later when i had my first baby. I had only been with my partner 5 months so i wasnt actively trying just wasnt being careful. I was taking bee propolis at the time though and i did read that it can help conception x
Congratulations, I have stage 4 endro. Whilst I was pregnant with my first I had a huge chocolate cyst and bleed for the whole pregnancy. This was a very scary time. I know it’s easier said than done but try to relax and look after your self. My gynaecologist is shocked that I even fell pregnant let only carried to term. I went on to have two more children all happy and healthy. Sometimes what is meant to be will. Enjoy this very special time.
They found a cyst at my 12 week scan 10cm by 12 cm. I didn’t know that I had it the doctor actually told me off for leaving it so long but I was unaware until the scan. I have always suffered since I was a teenager. I have a very strong pain threshold ( even in labour all three times no pain relief needed). I suffer excruciating pain and can not walk sometimes with theendro but the symptoms where different whilst pregnant. I had it in the pod but not in the bowls whilst pregnant. I have had four laps one every two years as it is so aggressive and complicated. My last one in May was to separate the ovary bowl and womb. Thankfully it was not in the bowl just a noddles in the pouch of Douglas.
Congratulations ❤️❤️ don’t think in this way a lot of endometriosis sufferes get pregnant without difficulties and it doesn’t always mean that . people who got ectopic pregnancy it is because their fallobin tupes were blocked and miscarriage usually happens when there is endometriosis and there are some issues with male so relax
