Pregnant with endometriosis

I wonder if this has happened to anyone else. The doctors told me I couldn't get pregnant due to the endo being bad and asked if I wanted fertility treatment, I said no due to not wanting children yet. I'm 24, just started my career after ending uni and in a stable relationship but wouldn't want to bring a child up in it.

However, Iv now found out I am pregnant and I don't have a clue what to do!! My head says no as it's unplanned and I don't feel like I'd be ready at all for it (I was also put on anti-depressants a few weeks ago to cope with work stress) but my heart says give it a chance as it's a kind of miracle to have it! Anyone else been in a similar situation?

Hi I think it's a miracle and was meant to be. Iv been told I can't have kids because of my endo and early menopause but I would be over the moon if it happened to me.

At the end of the day the decision is yours but talk to family and friends before you take make any drastic choices and congratulations 🙂

Hi sandy 112 yeah I had a laparoscopy Dec 2nd 2015 ended up being a very long op as there was so much endo then was told because of all of this I wasn't able to have kids, so I carried on with my pill for 2 months as instructed and then come off as in my mind there was no point being on it and then may 19th found out I was pregnant :)

Hi thank u for your reply I am so happy for you I look at this as a miricle but only u can make the right choice for yourself. I really want kids but I can not come off the pill because it's helping me with the pain so they have finally put me on the operation list again so hopefully they are able to remove everything or atleast most of it unlike before which they didn't do anything 😩

No one but you knows what is the best thing to do, but take your time to think it through. Talk to family, friends, the father and seek medical opinion. Don't make a hasty decision now that you may deeply regret in the future. In my experience there is never a right time for a baby, never enough money, always too many other commitments but putting it off can be a mistake in some instances. And with support and planning you'll most likely make it work if that's what you choose to do. I wish you all the luck in making your decision.
