Thanks for replying! I was diagnosed with Endo 5 years ago and going under treatment took a long time..... back in 2016 I found out that Endo causes infertility and since then I tried to push the doctors to get me treated but took a long time for another procedure, I have two children already, I had them when I was very young but the desire of having one more child has increased due to my husband not having any children ..: I feel devastated and somehow guilty! I don’t know why 🤷🏻♀️. Under the NHS the treatment it’s not given to women with children already so I have traveled to Germany to get it done as my husband is German, in a matter of a month I have been seen by all the doctors I needed to see and now the insurance will cover most of the costs, I am glad I took the decision to come to Germany, the lack of information in England about endometriosis is surreal!! I should have been told about the consequences of having Endo 5 years ago when they found not much lesions inside and advise me to get pregnant straight away!!! But hey ho ... I need to keep positive and see what happens 🤷🏻♀️

Anyone pregnant through IVF?
Good luck I also have children and want them with my partner your so lucky to be treated their here I’ve waited 9 months so far!
Awww! Good luck to you too! Yes it is shocking 9 months it’s a long time! Will you be having a laparoscopic treatment or IVF?
I will have a lap in the end I had a baby 3 month ago but lost her at 13 weeks so I’m hoping things will be better after lap but who knows we just never no with this disease
Oh 😢 I am so sorry to hear that! Yes this disease it’s a nightmare and only endo suffers can relate support and understand each other. I wish you all the best and hopefully you can get pregnant... they just need to hurry with the process, I waited for mine for a year x
Hi, I have only just been diagnosed with endometriosis which makes all the time
Of TTC understandable. We had ivf 5 years ago and are very lucky to have Our daughter. At the time of treatment we were told it was unexplained fertility issues as my egg count was high and tubes all fine so no further investigation....... little did I know that I probably had endometriosis then.
The process in itself was fine but it’s the emotional rollercoaster that is so hard.
Yes! After over 3 years of TTC "naturally" with no success, and 2 surgeries for endometriosis, I had IVF this year and am now pregnant. It does happen for some people with endo without IVF, of course. But IVF was necessary for me.
Awww 🥰 so happy for you!!! Honestly it must be the most amazing feeling! How serious was or is your endometriosis? Mine it’s a severe case and wondering what the doctor told you in terms of success with IVF?
Thank you! 13 weeks now so some ways to go but I am thrilled!
My endo was relatively severe, stage 3 or 4, rectovaginal and pelvic, a large endometrioma on one ovary, other ovary stuck to uterine wall, lots of adhesions, endo on bladder, pouch of douglas, uterus tilted and stuck to everything around it and anatomy distorted, etc. I was told my best chance of success was with IVF immediately after the last surgery. In the end I had IVF 9 months after the last surgery because of various delays.
Oh 😲 it sounds just like mine! I left it for too long my last surgery was almost two years ago and feeling endo is back again 😢, let’s hope I have a chance with IVF. Thanks for replying I feel a bit relieved xxx
I was struggling with infertility for years had laparoscopy surgery and was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, they removed with excision. 8 months after my surgery I did Ivf frozen embryo transfer and I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant. Best of luck to you!!
