I'm currently awaiting a hysteroscopy (got my pre appointment a week today). If nothing is found then a laparoscopy will be done as he says it may well be endometriosis. I had a bout of thrush in February, took canesten as prescribed by doctor and it cleared up. I now think it's came back again as I've got all the symptoms 😔 my question is, should I go to the doctor's first so they can check it's definitely thrush or should I just take the over the counter pill I've bought and see if it's cleared up that way? Just wondering with everything else that's going on. 😔 Thanks everyone x

Thrush?
I recall something being mentioned about thrush and if it occurs more than x times in any 3 month period consult your doctor for tests to be done. I can't remember the number though
Thrush can also be a symptom of endo; since I've had my lap to have a lot of it removed I haven't had thrush, I used to get it every three weeks or so, about a week before my period was due.
I found actually using the pessary (syringe of cream up vagina) worked better than the tablet, and it's actually easier than it looks. I think you can now get pessary tablets that dissolve up there. I found the cream around the labia and inside folds, like the bit around clitoris (tmi) helps to relieve symptoms too.
Hi there. Never been tested for a deficiency no, but I've had to take folic acid tablets for 3 months at a time on TWO seperate occasions this year. Just looked on the NHS website and I do have all the symptoms of the deficiency but my bloods aren't showing I'm anemic, just the low folic. My GP says I may need to stay on the folic acid tablets for the rest of my life.
Thank you I will do!
