Hi, Ive been experiencing thrush. I have purchased the thrush tablet and after taking one it stopped for 3 days and have slowly began to appear again.

Is it safe for me to try the thrush cream? or what are some suggestions? Please help.

It's possible you have sugar in your urine recurring thrush can be a reason for this aka diabetes so see your doc. Or a partner who is sleeping around and re infecting you . Hot weather and nylon panties can also be a culprit see your doc you can buy over the counter oral tablet that I find works well but expensive might be cheaper to see doc flurazam or something it's called just say yes doc diagnose it otherwise they won't give it. Or you can get online via proper chemist without the greif good luck xxxx

Was the tablet you took called flucanzole? Because it's a pretty effective way of relieving thrush, could be worth going and seeing your doctor and requesting that?like the lady above said go see your doctor because of sugar in urine, better to be safe than sorry, and there is always the old wives tale of eating lots of yogurt with probiotics in it. Hope you feel better soon x

I used to get thrush all the time. I bought some good quality probiotics that I take every day now I don't get it at all. Hope this helps. X

Same here! I used to have to take flucanzole monthly after each period. Then I started taking probiotics for about a year - no reaccurance of thrush. Now just taking actimel yogurt drinks daily keep it at bay. If I don't have them for a week it comes back. To the original poster - I'd suggest speaking to your dr about trying another dose of flucanzole, then take probiotics. These are the ones my gynaecologist recommended. Starting on the higher dose then going down to one a day. amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002FO...

After recurring thrush for the last couple of years i am now on a 6mnth course of flucanozole before that they tried me on 3 tablets spaced 72 hrs apart

Its been a battle getting them to recognise its recurring so kept getting them to swab me as they just kept prescribing me over the counter remedies and treated me for bacterial vaginosis

Go to your doctor they can give you a strong set of tablets that are good, sometimes the shop tablets/creams aren't strong enough! But it's fine to use cream and tablets together!! Xxx

I used to suffer with thrush alot and found out it was because i was always on antibiotics and it was killing all good bacteria in my stomach and it was getting overrun with candida which then gave me thrush!

So i started taking probiotics , strong tablets twice a day, not only do i hardly ever have to take antibiotics i also never have thrush.
