Yoghurt is supposed to help, as is reducing sugar from your diet.

Eating a Probiotic yogurt every day and adding garlic to your diet should help.

how would you use tea tree oil? Like in a bath or what? Trying to switch to all natural remedies and yogurt doesn't help me and I don't want to keep relying on pharmaceuticals incase my body become immune or overly reliant on them over time x

Hi, like others here I've tried to re-populate my guts with the good bacteria. From what I've read you need to find a source or sources with a good range. Yogurt only provides acidophilus. They are good, but I took bifidus too, several kinds. If buying as capsules make sure they have kept them as stated on the bottle (usually chilled) otherwise they will be dead.

You can also take other supplements to support the re-growth of friendly bacteria. As others have said, cutting out refined sugars helps. I found I could stop thrush re-occurring with the Candida diet, but it is quite restrictive. The idea is that you do it strictly for 3 months or so, things get back in balance and then you gradually go back to more normal eating. I found I never went back to sweet things, which has improved my teeth!

Not what you're looking for?
