I had surgery to remove my endo on February... all went well and they also inserted a Mirena coil in too..
Well I obviously didn’t have sex for a while whilst I was recovering. But ever since my sex drive is basically at zero. I love my partner to pieces, I still find him incredibly hot!! But I just couldn’t care less about having sex with him. I’m even now saying I’m too tired just because I’m not in the mood.
I have an honest enough relationship. So I have told him I am feeling like this. Just so he doesn’t think I’ve gone off him or anything!!
But what could this be? I have always had a high sex drive. I’m also hypersensitive too, I can’t stand being touched as it actually hurts!!
What is going on!! Any advice welcome please.
I am maybe thinking it’s the coil?? xxxx

I have also had no sex drive at all since my operation. Not sure why but it’s actually affecting my relationship now and I’m on the pill not the coil so don’t know whether it could be to do with contraceptives or not x
I have the coil and my sex life took a dip but I didn’t necessarily attribute that to the coil, more just having a lot of laparoscopies/ sex is painful/ feeling unwell etc I’ve had the coil for 4 years or so now and happy to report a good sex life 😊.
I had no sex drive for years and I thought it was because of the pain, endo, stress of being unwell, surgeries etc. but I had blood tests and they found high prolactin and a Pituitary Adenoma. When I started treatment for that my sex drive came back with a vengeance. I had to lie and say I wanted a baby now to have the tests as they wouldn’t do anymore investigations until I was ready to have a baby. I would suggest if you haven’t already to have tests to check hormones.
