Post op 5 weeks ! Infected wound

Hey all hope everyone is all good! I can’t believe I’m nearly 5 weeks post op already! My wound on my belly button has jus been a nightmare it’s stared to heal well then it went all gungy n started bleeding so I was given an antibiotic cream from my gp! I had my follow up app at my endo clinic , she asked to see my wounds when I showed her it’s was a mess bleeding and pus so she said she needs to send a swab away and took my stitch out , since Tuesday it’s has been throbbing and nipping I’m on a lot of pain killers for endometriosis and even that does not budge the throbbing pain.. I started to feel unwell around 5am on Saturday had really bad tummy bug (polite way of saying something else ) then today I felt so Shivvery and cold , I’m recently went bk to work I went back Thursday and worked right through till today I’ve went bk full time hours , which I’m now thinking it’s been a bit much for me as my job is a lot of walking around and bending down a lot, my manager has been so supportive but me being me I’m running around trying to get things done, when I checked my wound this morning it was awful its that awful I couldn’t bring myself to send a pic! My manager told me to call nhs 24 whole at work but I decided to go to my local boots pharmacist seen the pharmacist and she had called nhs 24 and spoke to a doctor and they faxed it through to boots pharmacist I had antibiotics within half an hour! I was soo happy with this service! I’m now off tomorrow to have a rest day and hope these antibiotics kick in! I’m jus so shocked 5 weeks post op with a infected wound! Had anyone else experience this? I have to call my doctor in the morning as they want to check me over .. Xx
