The fatigue today has kicked my butt and my hip and legs are so painful.
I’m on codeine phosphate but it isn’t doing mucch, I also have naproxen. Tramadol doesn’t work on me and oramoph keeps me awake. Doesn’t anyone know of anything else I can try?
I’ve had the mirena too but my body pushed it out. Haha

I too gave had anotger bad pain day. This morning i had painkillers then lay down andcwas sick a few hours later. Think the painkillers were too much for me. I have been on codeine and ibuprofen every day for 4 weeks. I am trying to hold put today and not take anymore just some before bed. I sat outside as it was sunny. I feel crap though everyone else enjoying life and me stuck at home in pain. I feel for you. Have you tried hot and cold packs at same time to confuse ypur brain with the pain. It may help. Hope you feel less pain so on x
It may be that the morphine based drugs dont work for you, in some people they actually intensify pain.
Drug alternatives tend to be Amytriptyline /Duloxetine or Pregabalin /Gabapentin. I was put on pregabalin by a pain specialist and though initially sceptical to be fair have found it very helpful.
Some ladies find alternative therapies helpful, tens, acupressure/puncture, massage, meditation, hot water bottles, baths castor oil packs etc
Amytriptyline makes me eat like I haven’t eaten before haha.
I’m going to ask about the others though, I’m going to the pain clinic next weekday they think my pain is abdominal wall. I really don’t think it is, but maybe I can talk to them about it.
No talk on endo with the pain clinic , as my gastro consultant referred me there. He was thinking of injections direct into abdominal for the muscle.. I’m not sure it would do anything tbh.
I'm currently taking a drug called pregabalin for my pain. It mainly targets the joint and leg pain I get and seems to work pretty well! Might be worth asking about
