I am going to have a diagnostic lap in a few weeks as my gynacologist suspects endio
I've been suffering from symptoms for a ver long time however recently it's gotten worst
I seem to have developed hot flushes and a strong sickness feeling when I am due on and during my period. The pain is unbearable and it is always in left hand side and even moves under my groin and up to coxic.
Does anyone else suffer from this? And if so what normally helps you?
Thanks
Sabrina

I've not been diagnosed with endometriosis yet but on waiting list for a Laparoscopy. Last year I started with night sweats and a overwhelming feeling of sickness around my period. I discussed this with my GP as Ive just turned 40 so thought it was menopause symptoms as I've never suffered before- she said not likely I was too young!
I had my first Depo injection before Christmas and at first my symptoms continued but I'm close to having my third next week and my night sweats and sickness feeing have all but gone, I think it is due to the changes in hormone levels since starting the injections.
I have right side of naval pain, lump and swelling about 3 weeks a month ( starts with my period and can last up to two weeks after) I have lower back pain which can be right side and central, I also have bowel and bladder issues that coincide with this.
I don't know what causes it but on a scale of 1-10 I'm usually 9/10 from the day my period finishes & every day for those two weeks then suddenly I'm down to 1-4 before the cycle starts all over again.
I only take paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain although when I am 9/10 they don't take the pain away. I use hot water bottles alot night and day and when I can warm baths.
I've heard that changing your diet can help with hot flushes if you think that is worth investigating ?
Thank you very much for your reply! I haven't had any conversations about treatment or injections but I am hoping afyer my op they can start discussing these with me xx
I hope your lap went well. I had a similar pain experience.....I told my doctors for years That I must only ovulate from the left side cause that is always where the pain is.
In the last four years all my symptoms got worse, the pain, the bowels swinging from constpated to diarrhea. And urinary urgency.
After they ruled out everything else I had a lap two days ago. Still waiting for my follow up appointment to find out what was there.
I have mine in the morning very nervous! Glad your pains are better. Do you have a lot of bloating and how long have they said you need to be off of work for ?
I didn’t have a lot of bloating but I did have the dreaded gas pain in the shoulder. Stock up. gas x, charcoal pills, peppermint tea, stool softener, gravol and someone to take care of you the first day or two. I don’t work full time any more but I would count on a couple of weeks off at least. If you have a physical job you may need longer
Well I am glad that they found and treated some areas. These doctors do like to wait for the follow up appointment before telling us what is up and what the next steps are.
I am struggling with feeling ok but the pain comes out of know where. I feel like a baby for moaning about the pain however I think i was oblivious to the pain after surgery and treatment. I was told it wasnt painful
