I haven't found much tonic combat it but know that my ordinary fitting clothes don't help when it kicks in so have recently bought some maternity skinnies and wear them with forgiving tops! Helps the stomach not feel so restricted at the least 😃

A lot of ladies manage this through diet by eliminating high fodmap and/ or inflammatory and/or common allergen foods like dairy, caffeine, salt, sugar, gluten, red meat, soya and eggs (for some), reducing processed food and increasing fresh fruit and veg.

Sensitivities do very massively by individual so often a food diary can be helpful in identifying key culprits.

Bear in mind some residues of intolerance inducing food like gluten can take months to clear from your body.

I found low Fodmap (google diet vs disease for a quick overview) did help me a lot with bloating in particular along with sugar, which encourages the wrong kind of gut flora i believe. I also took probiotics.

There is one scientific research study suggesting that gluten avoidence is good for endo pain too, but of course more research is needed.

Peppermint oil/cordial/tea. Or just sipping hot water. But it’s worth looking at your diet long term.

I persevere through it with leggings and jogging bottoms 😊

Like Starry said certain foods can make you worse. For me, brown/wholemeal breads, onions, sugary snacks, milk and many more make me worse. So does hot weather!

I take peppermint oil tablets and have elastic waisted trousers for work. It's the only way I know that my trousers will always fit. I have loads of button/zip/ hook fastening trousers in a drawer but find even if they fit in the morning when I put them on by afternoon they are too tight. I live in leggings the rest of the time!
