After lap - does sex stop hurting?

Just wondering for those of you who struggled with pain during/after sex and had endo removed, how long after the lap did sex stop hurting??

Ive tried 3 weeks post op and it still hurt but I'm hoping that's cos I'm not fully recovered yet.

I haven’t tried yet as I’m not fully recovered but I remember my consultant saying the first few times still might not be pleasant as your mind associates having sex with pain so naturally tense and can’t fully enjoy properly but that should pass soon after. I hope this helps!

Ah ok thanks for letting me know I think I tried too soon cos I'm still recovering and I ended up being in even more pain after, I guess I'll leave it a few more weeks a see
