Had lap to romove some endo in sept last year. I have had endo for 7-8 years.
I already have a son who is 9. I am now 29 & want to try for another baby with my husband. I want my coil out. I was just wondering what people’s expeiences have been getting pregnant & how long it has taken for them to coniceve naturally if able?

Hi Steph, I was in a very different situation to you as I came off birth control to try for a baby after years of contraception and no real problems with endo pain. Coming off birth control triggered all sorts of problems for me, which is when I realised I had endo. We got pregnant fairly quickly (at least once we’d properly organised ourselves with dates etc) but unfortunately had a very nasty, prolonged and messy ectopic pregnancy. It is highly likely that this was entirely coincodental and nothing to do with the endo as my ovaries and tubes were clear.
In terms of your situation it depends on your personal endo position, but in theory you should have no more problems than any normal person. And as you may know pregnancy is great for endo symptoms!!!
If you need further advice you could try talking to a decent GP or to your lap consultant / a consultant specialising in this area if possible.
Pregnancy is the most natural thing in the world and nature works in its own mysterious ways!
