Spotting after lap

Hi everyone, I had my lap about 7-8 weeks ago now and was on prostap for 3 months until January. I had my first period about 4 weeks ago which lasted for about a week and was red blood. For the past ten days now I’ve been spotting, just a tiny bit of pink when I wipe or tiny amount of brown blood, (sorry for the tmi). Does anyone know if this is to be expected post prostap and the operation? The nurse said yes but she didn’t seem to be certain, asking me if I’m on the pill etc which makes me think not so normal as I’m not. Any advice would be appreciated, have just started ttc and am concerned this is meaning I’m not ovulating
