Finally seeing an endo specialist next week. Suddenly feeling like it's all in my head, sigh. What can I do to prepare? I don't get many symptoms unless it's my period then the pain is unbearable, and also some random stabbing pains in my lower pelvis.

on the endometriosis uk website, theres a consultants questionnaire which covers the questions they could ask. endometriosis-uk.org/public...
I found keeping a diary of how I felt during the times when it was bad a good idea, as I can show my specialist when it's bad. I am the same, I usually only get symptoms during my periods. But I now know sometimes I feel ill due to my endo a week before. Try to explain the symptoms as best as you can, if it helps write it down, along with if you are able to do stuff when it's bad, what can you do, what helps to make it a little easier to cope with.
thank you - my period is due in about 10 days and already starting to feel a bit rubbish so it sounds like we may be similar there xx
Hey, to be honest I don’t have many symptoms and it only happens around my periods, ovulation and sex. I get random stabbing pains too.
I know how you feel about it being all in your head as I’m the same. However seeing an endo specialist was the best thing I did as he was really good and knew a lot about endo etc. Plus he suspects it based on my symptoms and pelvic exam pain and tenderness in my ovaries
