Getting pregnant

I just got a ultrasound to make sure my tubes are open and thankfully they are. But still not having luck with pregnancy, we’re doing the digital ovulation test now. Does anyone have any advice to help me get pregnant?

have you looked at an app for predicting your cycles and ovulation? I use natural cycles as its the only certified app which also means doctors are happy to use it's results. It has an option to plan / prevent which can be interchanged.

It takes basal temperature first thing in the morning (to 2 decimal places) and combines with LH tests a few days before it thinks your ovulating to predict your cycle, as you enter more data it better predicts. It will log your LH tests and tells you when ovulation should occur and then if there's a peak in temperature after, it confirms ovulation has occurred - the peak needs to be more than 0.5 degrees which is why it's first thing when you're still in bed. It predicts the fertile period 5 days before and 2 days after based on the sperm and eggs lifetime. The combination of both LH tests and basal temp means it knows when ovulation has occurred, some cycles may not produce an egg and LH tests alone wont detect this, also your cycles vary so your LH test surges can be as long as 12 hours and as short as 4 hours and happen for just two days, so you may not always catch it if you don't know when to do them. There's an option to add notes directly into the app, and you can add things like ovulation spotting, sex with or without protection. It displays the data in different ways, and there's loads of help online, including "why choose them". It's more accurate than clearblue, they explain on their website.

Hope that helps from a non invasive point of view.

Has your partner been checked? A lot of the infertility problems lie with the male more than the female and it can be a simple case of the right vitamins, so see if he is okay too.
