Hi Ashc86,

It took about 3 days, carrot juice, heat on the shoulder and laying flat can help.

I hope you have you recover soon.

Mine didn’t disappear until the fifth day. I phoned the gyne ward on the fourth day to check it was normal and they said it’s usually 48 hours but the best thing is heat and to get up and about as movement helps to dissipate it.

Everyone's different but just look upon it as escaping gas making its way out of your body. Mine took 48 hours. I found it worse rumbling around my stomach Hope all is well soon

Try gently moving your arms as if you are doing front crawl to help get it moving x

I've found that since surgery, any wind I get in my body I now feel in my shoulders which is odd. Nowhere near as bad as it was after surgery (mine went away after about 2 days and lots of back rubs and hot water bottles later) but since then I get wind back in the tips of my shoulders!

Not what you're looking for?
