Some help, extreme nausea and sickness during period.

Hi again.

I wondering if anyone here has this and whether they could help me at all.

I'm 30 now, and this is a new thing, since last year, but on the first day of my period I'm getting extreme nausea, it's constant and awful enough, but today I have come on and it started up again, only today it's escalated to being very, very sick. Projectile vomiting.

I've never had anything like this, only very, very intense pain. I was diagnosed last year as an endo cyst was found on my ovary.

Any help would be lovely, I just don't feel like I can go on with this sickness and it continuing to get worse.

Thanks.

Hi

I am afraid I don't have any answers . I'm have my lap next week but I just wanted to send a big hug as it must be horrid feeling like that. I often feel very sick but think mine is beacuse of the pain killers . Hope you get to the bottom of it xxx

Hi, I too get nausea. Mine is generally all month but does get worse when my period is due. The only time im physically sick is if I try forse myself to eat. I find it very difficult to eat when my period is due but being hungry makes the nausea worse so its a juggling act the now! My doctor has prescribed me 2 anti sickness tablets (cyclizine and prochlorperazine). Apparently although there are quite a few anti sickness tablets available only a couple are sutible for long term use. Best of luck x

Thanks for this.

I have low grade nausea during the rest of the month, but it's manageable, it's just I've never had anything like this, even when I've been ill, it's awful, and then to be so sick yesterday really got to me.

I'm just literally sick of this bloody condition now.

I would see a doctor because you shouldnt be sick 😮 The only time we should be sick is if theres a virus or something we are allergic to its dangerous to be sick because of the acid 😮 If you go to the doctors they should be able to prescribe you anti sickness tablets or take travel sickness pills 🤔 I personally go through nausea nearly everyday since last year because of a gastro problem but I'm never sick I've got close to it but my body knows I shouldnt be sick because its not a virus 😮 I have natural rememdies that help me though I take peppermint oil tablets wear travel sickness bands and I've cut out gluten I also find when I lay on my back it helps 😮

Do you think? Does nobody else get any physical sickness?

I couldn't face having peppermint or ginger or anything, the nausea is so strong.

I think I'll have to go to the doctors, it's just I know they'll probably say wait until I see my consultant again, but that's not until March.

I've seen others that are physically sick but it still is not right when you dont have a virus its dangerous especially if you are getting that a lot 😮 It also could mean your endo has got worse 😮 Mention that you are sick not just nausous 😮

I suffer with really bad nausea throughout the month because of endo the doctor gave me bucal anti sickness tablets which you put in your gums so if you are going to be sick they stay in the gyms you don’t swollen them. Personally I have never had any side effects!! I ignored feeling sick for years and getting tablets for it was the best thing I ever did x
