any idea how long waiting list for lap date??

Hi

I was listed at the start of September and had my op in Middlesbrough in late November. There is a 16 week rule from the date you were referred to the date of your op. Most NHS trusts try to meet this criteria. Good luck. X

Hi!

I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. They excised endometriosis from the utero-sacral ligaments and spotted a possible adenomyoma. I’m due my follow up in 2 weeks. They know what they’re doing there ( I was referred there from Nottingham!) so you’ll be fine am sure. I really felt like it was worth the travel to know they were the right people to do the op. Hi, just to clarify the NHS target is 18 weeks from referral to treatment but many places view consultation as treatment so you can wait longer for the op itself. This year it’s got worse and lots of places are struggling to see people within 18 weeks.

I was on the list from May 2017 and had mine on 27 December 2017 and that was only due to a cancellation. I was originally told 2 months but then was told my the consultant’s secretary that over the summer the consultant’s surgery time had been halved which caused big delays. I was at Middlesbrough too.
