hip pain before bowel movement

I was reading someone's post about radiating pain down the front of her legs before a bowel movement. I had the same thing along with sciactia, which happened to be the femoral nerve. It causes so much pain. My dr gave me steroids which worked. She said if it continues after my prescription is used up she will send me to have a steroid injection in the nerve.
