I just got woken up by a horrible pain in my butt hole. I got up and went to the toilet cause I thought maybe I needed to go, I sat there for maybe a minute and I came over all dizzy and generally thought I was going to pass out. So I ran to my room cause I thought if I pass out in the bathroom no one can get to me as I locked the door. I took my top off( as thought I may have got too hot) and laid down on my bed and it took about 10mins for me to feel normal again.
Has this happen to anyone? Is this even endo related?
I looked up on Google at its called an vasovagal attack? Just wondered if anyone else has had this and if it's endo related
Thanks
Emma

I have had similar experiences the pain is blinding!!!
Mine can last up to about 1 hour and I end up vomiting, sweating from being to hot then shaking from how cold I go. The pain stabs in my lower abdomen and right in my rectum, feels like the pressure of bowling ball being inside you.
Not sure what this is- but I’m hopefully getting referred to a gastro to investigate if my endo is there too. So I will mention to them and see what they say.
The best pain relief is to not push lay with a wheatie on grab two strong ibuprofen, and try control your breathing. It does pass but it’s definitely the most painful thing I’ve experienced.
I didn't have the vomiting but had everything. It was horrible! I hope everything goes okay with you! And thank you for the advice! Definitely do that next time x
This has happened to me twice, the first time I was home alone and had no idea what was happening and got over it in about 45 minutes, the second time it was about 4am, 2 days before my laparoscopy and I was screaming and bawling so much my mum woke up and she was so scared she almost called an ambulance, never knew it had a name, just thought it was a bad flare up😱 thanks for sharing this, I’ll mention this to gastro when I see them xx
I've had this, always thought it was a sort of panic attack and the pain was a symptom. Horrible thing to experience but interesting to see it's not what I thought it was, hope you don't experience it again! x
Iv had the pain before but never the dizziness with it. Will keep an eye on it to see if mines endo related as I'm due to come off th pill next week for a period. Hope yours gets better soon
