Hi im 47years suffering from 4th stage endo. doc says too advanced to operate and remove uterus and ovary.had left ovary removed 4months ago.endometriosis stuck to intestines.pain when passing stools.wants me to go on zoladex 10.8mg once off, says will solve all my problems.didnt discuss side effects .please advise.

Hello, I fully understand how you feel and am on the same journey as you, diagnosed with frozen pelvis and endometriosis extensive, operating too risky so prescribed the same for me. I am in turmoil also as I don’t want the injections so have delayed it until I can get a second opinion by a BSGE consultant. Haven’t got an appointment yet but hoping I can get one. You are not alone and I truly feel your confusion and terror xx

Hi me too managed 5 months on zolodex but couldn’t take any more side effects so now only on paracetamol. But now getting problems with left kidney. I’m tying to manage it more naturally but no luck so far as pain is increasing as well as other symptoms persisting. I’m looking into transferring bgse centres. But early days. Monthly zolodex may work for you as it does for some. X
