So I have been diagnosed with end and had the keyhole surgery at the end of September. On the first day of my cycle I had my first injection of prostap. Since then I have been bleeding. It’s no longer period bleeding, it’s just an annoying, lasting, light bleeding. What will that stop? Should I go to go and ask for advice? I’m soooo annoyed with it!

It’s just so annoying. At that point I’ve got enough of it all, and it’s only 2 weeks in. Is it all really worth it? Just to maybe (30% chance with IVF) get pregnant?
I was told that the prostap before ivf was our best chance of conceiving. I had a 3 month depo injection of prostap and they started stimming me for ivf just before the 12 weeks was up. I got 5 eggs, all fertilised but bfn. It took 7 months after the prostap injection to start cycling again. I got a second opinion about the prostap and everyone agreed it was the best way forward but the endo doc said that it had taken years to get the endo I had and the surgery with prostap was the best way to treat it. Currently doing round two of ivf and I’m responding (so far) much better now the prostap is out of my system. On balance yes probably worth it at least I know I’ve tried everything even if this ivf fails. Sorry for the essay xx
