Not actually finding stomach pain bad feeling ok just more of feeling like I’m hungover and tired.

Any tips of recovery?

Hey how are u?

Glad it went well. Did they tell u anything? What was there, not there? What they did.

I tell u what to do kate345, chill, relax, do whatever makes u comfy, watch crap tv and boxsets, eat and drink loads so u get nice and healthy.

Hot water bottles, peppermint teas and make sure u keep on top of the pain do not let pain take over.

Generally u get a pain blocker so ur have a comfy couple of days then the discomfort will kick in but i just felt bruised , bloated and the stitches pulled but i never had pain. I did take paracetamols though a couple times a day.

Dont shower for couples of days as u dont wana get anything wet.

Just really b kind to yourself let people look after you. Do not make mistake that i made and thought i felt fine after week and went back to work as i realised that i didnt feel as good as i thought and fainted after three hours of standing up to long. U have had a op and just coz the stitches and scars are tiny u have had a op and they rooted about ur belly!!!

Need any questions answered do not b embarrassed about anything just pm me or get intouch xxx

They found extensive endometriosis so she cleaned a bit up and wants me to go on prostap injections first then have another laparoscopy in 6 months to remove it

Sore this morning but the painkillers will have worn off

Just getting over the anesthetic, I’m not far off 24 hours post op now

Lots and lots of rest. I had mine nearly 5 weeks ago and really suffering needed 3 weeks off work as well, wished I listened when people said rest, but with 2 young ones it’s hard. I’ve got an extensive case and it’s widespread too, unsure what my next step is as waiting for my follow up. X

I did same i think it in a womens genes that we just get on with it, especially when ur used to pain on a general daily level....

i went back to work after a week and boy did i pay for it, i fainted where i was standing so long , i was still bleeding and my stitches were pulling and next thing i hit the deck and woke up in husbands car being carted back home. I was shattered! I spent next 3 days asleep as it had taken it all out of me.

You must remember u have had op wether u had anything done or not, they have still rooted about in your belly! And had anaesthetic which take a good while to get out of system.

I went to my dr at 2 weeks to get stitches taken out as one was digging in and she said she had hers done years ago and it took her 5 weeks to feel normal... and thats a doctor so dont worry it all takes time and rest, b good to your body
