Can anybody else feel their endo?

So feeling a bit better since my ultrasound but pains still bad so i had a good feel around last night. Just at my pubic hairline i have a hard mass. Not sure if i have a loaded colon maybe? But its solid. Also when i press on my left i need a wee, dont if i press on my right. If i lie on my right side and have a good feel a feel a definite nodule/lump. Dr wants me to ring Gynea to get ultrasound results to see what she saw when she said "i thought it would hurt" but i see gynea on 27th of this month. So im thinking of holding out. Pains bad though but atleast that 'ill' feeling as gone again. Youve always been able to see my endo. If i stand up the left side of my belly is bigger, but this is the first time i felt it!

Hi hope your ok when I stand straight and look down the bottom left of my belly where I get a lot of my pain is bigger then anywhere else I've shown my husband my mum and the dr hubby and my mum said its weird and my Dr said I've pulled a muscle funniest thing I've heard in ages bearing in mind that I've had it for 12 years and this is the dr/so called gynea that said I haven't got endo and its all in my mind. But all I can feel when I cup it is like a hard swollen feel kind of thing if you know what I mean. Xx

Yes, mine is exactly the same. It actually went down for a month after excision surgery then popped back up. Bar the increase in pain, it was how i knew my endo was back. Have you had a lap, cuz you sound like you need one. I keep getting this mass, dr said loaded colon. I do suffer severe constipation from endo damage, but i can also feel a very hard lump/nodule thing. Ultrasound woman seen something in that spot last month but wouldnt explain. I see my gynea on 27th!

Also. Another sign of endo for me is cup your waist with your hands. Keep the shape/measurement. Put both hands together. If your left is wider than your right, youre likely to have endo/adhesions/cyst or internal problem.

Do push for a lap. Xx

I haven't had a lap for about a year and a half now I will push for one and that measuring your waist is a interesting way of doing things at home. Good idea. Is the gynea appointment to see your results from the scan? Have your heard anything back from your pip application yet? Xx

Yes. Will get results back. Endo is definitely back as she told me she seen a cyst on left ovary. What is it with endo and the left? They have received my application. Ive spoken to my GP and shes backing my claim. Dont know if thatll help but shes been more help than my consultant treating the severe constipation and impactions. Not sure what my consultants going to do as that ultrasound was at the very end of a course of zoladex and i still have active endo. But currently in between a diagnosis for a foot deformity too that im hoping will help my pip claim. Both my feet have collapsed and my right one turns at the ankle. Bloods have shown no inflammation but ive had a borderline x-ray for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Im staying positive, but the DWP arnt the most helpful. Xx

Hi did you get pip for endo? Xx

You can certainly get PIP for endo alone. Plenty have. Its not on your diagnosis, its on how your diagnosis effects you! My endo isnt just painful periods. Ive been left with chronic pelvic pain. Endo/adhesions cause severe constipation/impactions which causes bowel incontinence (overflow diarrhea). My pain is front, back, side (up under my ribs) which has worsened my reactional depression, so my short term memory is effected. Fatigue from chronic pain. Weight loss. Im chronically underweight. But i do have joint issues too. Not everyone with endo will get PIP or even should, but some people definitely are ill and deserve it! Xc

With my left side swollen I thought it was just my bowel inflamed or something haven't really thought about it been endo I go see the dr on Wednesday so will see if he can send me for another lap then Xx

My pain is really bad like you side back and front it sometimes goes in to my legs i suffer from depression (not drs diagnosis ) but i know. I haven't had a period for 7 months but I still get my period pains 1 a month for between 5-7 days I cant get out of the house. I cant get up stairs to toilet so my husband got me a Kermode Its so degrading as I'm only 26 and didn't see any of this coming. I got sacked as I wasn't any use at work as the pain just became more frequently and it worsened. Xx
