Hi, rajsam

Did you have monthly or 3 monthly injection?

When I used to have it, I had 3 monthly injection. So from the last date of injection, it took about 5months to ease off the decapeptyl.

Hi, rajsam

I am sorry you are not feeling good. I see, mine was 3 monthly injections but still, it took 2 minths after ending the effective 3 months time to ease it off so it may take another one month or so for you to have periods back.

Are you seeing your GP about the symptoms you are experiencing and getting support?

Ive never experienced anxiety like this ever before.. it started all of a sudden in July... My GP has given me some tablets to keep me calm until the injections come out of my system... I just want my normal life back..

Hi, we never know what the effect will be, because we are all different and each case is unique. So it is a bit like trial and error, unfortunately!

I don't regret that I had decapeptyl injecrions, I needed it at time. I hope you will find a right kind of treatment, I am still trying to get the best treatment for myself, too.

At least, we have a NHS who can support us and make requesr. Even if not the best or easiest way, we can still have a say! Good luck! xx
