Due a decapeptyl injection next cycle. I'm wondering if any of you guys have had this course of treatment and how it worked or didn't for you? Any info you have good or bad would be so much appreciated. I hope you are all relatively pain free today xx

hi there, i know for sure this injection has worked for alot of women! personnaly im struggling with it.. im 3 weeks in and omg its been hard! iv had alot of support off the ladies on here which i havent had from the medical profession. my side effects so far- palpations, achy joints, nite sweats, hot flushes, mood swings, a flare 10x worse than my pains before , bleeding so heavy im using tena lades incontience pads (really uncomfy) and i am so low at min i cant seem to motivate myself to do anything... ... i know all this sounds bad but im sticking with it cos im hoping (praying) my symptoms will get better soon like most of the women iv spoken to. i know this injection can do wonders and not everyone gets the same side effects. i just thought id share my story... claire xx

Hi lovely u fortunately it wasn’t an effective treatment for me. Unfortunately still I am looking for success in anything. All I can say is definitely try it. As it may be successful for you! If it doesn’t work then atleast you know it’s not right and it will be on to the next treatment. But if it does work then that’s a win! Best of luck!

use the search box on the forum and type in decapeptyl or GnRH and you will see several previous discussions and it saves everyone typing out their experiences over and over and you waiting for them to do that. The information is already here and it saves you waiting.
