Any experiences with Decapeptyl

Hi there, has anyone had any experience with Decapeptyl? This is my second week and today is day 26 of my cycle. All night I have had sharp electrical shock type pains and when I went to the loo to wipe the tissue was pink. Is spotting normal. Woken up with swollen lower stomach and a bit worried . Can anyone help? Thanks

It is normal to get a flare of symptoms in the first month as it causes a hormone surge before you go into the chemical menopause.

Thanks joreilly. I haven't been diagnosed for endo yet......consultant has gone straight to treatment with monthly injections. No lap as I am too fat! Period has arrived today and all flared up - including bowels! Yes I will hang in there! Thanks for the reassurance.

Yes hang in there I did 4× 3 months cycles , was way worse at start and then I was pain and symptom free was amazing !!

Thank you, that's reassuring to know. Since July I've been in chronic pain everyday. It's like ground hog day. It's horrendous today, so many odd feelings and pain. Glad you are pain and symptom free!

Not anymore unfortunately after my lap I have a continous period and pain so draining 😑 my experience ifor decapeptyl was great though bar the hot flushes!!

Sorry to hear. It's all so overwhelming and draining. No hot flushes yet! I am sure they will come. X

I'm currently on decapeptyl, due my 4th injection next week. Unfortunately it hasn't worked for me and I'm still in a lot of pain, all it's done is stopped my periods and left me with awful menopause symptoms which I'm having to take tibolone. The first month was horrendous and I had 2 periods one after the other. I hope all goes well for yourself x

I'm so overwhelmed no diagnosis and straight to these injections and pains over these two weeks have been horrible, I am on my period now and it's the worst ever! Left side is bubbling popping and fluttering and the usual period and bowel pains! Bleeding isn't that bad, it's the pain! Thanks for the reply! Good luck to you too
