Does anyone have any tips for dealing with crushing fatigue? I had my first lap 3 weeks ago and came back to work last week. I have overhauled my diet- no caffeine, no alcohol, whole foods designed to reduce inflammation and I've definitely noticed a difference with my pain levels but I'm so exhausted all the time. I'm really struggling to get anything done at work. I thought improving my diet would also improve my energy levels- do I just need to give it more time? Does anyone else have any tips?
Thank you

Fatigue is the worst isn't it iv suffered with that since a teen awful.
Your right diet does help with pain what iv recently found is maca root powder it helps with balancing hormones and gives good energy along with coconut oil I put them both in my afternoon smoothie really helps me get on with the day you just need to get the right balance when I first started taking it my fatigue was bad but that I think was because I took too much. Then I started off small and built up to two teaspoons and it helps loads. Vitamin b complex supposed to help too. Maca is full of vitamins some of the b ones too.
Your welcome also try serrapeptase to stop adhesions from forming after your surgery. I swear by it I found it after my op in Feb and that and maca have honestly changed my life. X
I never really found anything that helped my fatigue. Hoping my excision this week does, there is thinking that there is crosstalk between endo adhesions and the immune system which contribute to it.
I'd ask for a blood test at doctors as I found after my laps and certain tablets I've taken with the endo has lowered my iron levels and I've been borderline anemic a few times even though I eat well with plenty of iron rich foods so when I start feeling really tired again and struggle to get up in a morning I request a blood test and so far I've never been wrong and have to have a course of iron tablets just help give me a burst they have checked if anything else is wrong but everything always comes back fine. Good luck x
