Hello everyone. Hope u all had a great Xmas xxx. Just writing hoping someone may b able to help me. I had lap done 2 months ago now to remove mild endo, in bladder and intestine. Still feeling the symptoms like hip back pain and really bad fatigue. Just wondering if this is the normal thing after lap. Or is there a possibility that not all endo was removed? Just quite confusing i was feeling great but mayb my body still not recovered. ...... what u guys thk?

I had a lap and they found endo on outside of my bladder which they didn't remove due to "risky location"..at my follow up I want to ask them to check if it's in my bladder but anyway...

You can phone the consultant secretary or your gp to ask for a copy of the discharge summary/letter. It will say on there if they removed anything. P's I saw your other question and I've read on here that a lot of ladies periods went slightly wonky after lap for a little while. I had mirena fitted during lap so assume mine will change. They are currently lasting 2 wks every 2 weeks. Like you though my main symptom was ovulation pain. Defo worth phoning and asking for a copy of the letter.

Xx

Yes I know what you mean. Really helps reading what other people say. I don't get pain going to the toilet. My main symptoms were the changes in my cycle. Periods used to last 1 week every 3 weeks then they lasted weeks every 2 weeks, ovulation pain (both cramps and a burning pain mainly on my right side) and then I developed kidney and flank pain.

Hope u get answers when u ring

Xx

Hey, sorry to hear you're still suffering. I too had operation two months ago and had endo removed from bladder, urethra and intenstines. Still finding going to toilet very painful and even hurts outside where bladder is located, which I'm finding disconcerting. Fatigue is also problem, though struggle getting to sleep at night. I feel more dibiliitated from this op than previously. Do hope you get better soon and have a good new year. X
