I am not a doctor, just someone who is somewhat familiar with these types of situations! Please talk to your doctor or get a second opinion from another doctor. if you are worried.
Anyways, progesterone is a hormone that stimulates and regulates a few bodily functions. It could doing just that since you are experiencing pms symptoms. I have PCOS but was diagnosed through an ultrasound. Maybe ask your doctor to take a look if they haven't already.
Also, if the tests are in normal ranges you shouldn't worry too much.
If you are afraid you may have cancer, definitely speak up and talk to your doctor and if they don't listen, find another.
Best of luck to you and I hope you can feel at ease soon ✨
There are many other symptoms of cancer. If you are in the normal ranges you should be okay. But again, if you are worried, definitely bring it up to your doctor. It sounds like nothing but it is always best to be sure. You can get some more urine and blood work done to help rule out anything like that.
It's very annoying because I rang the receptionist at doctors and she wouldn't tell me what my progesterone level was ..she said most patients will google it and it's unhelpful.
hello! Im not a doctor but I so work in a cancer care setting... my advice would be to NOT google things. If you google you have a head ache it will throw links of brain tumor symptoms at you. There are loads of things that can affect your blood results, if your Dr saw the results and had any suspicion it would be anything nasty like cancer they would call you in immediately etc. I really wouldn't worry, I know thats really easy for me for me to say and the waiting game is horrible. But try not to ask google or search engines about bloods, if you want your results relating to endo etc I would try to find a certified endo website and look for more information there, or ring your gp surgery and see if there are any information sites or places you can go to ask in the mean time. I really hope you are feeling ok, these things are so so scary! Sending big big hugs, I hope you are ok and that you get the information you need xxx
Oww I hope the scan goes ok, I know it's so easy to say "dont worry" but I hope everything is ok. Its horrible having the worry! Normal ranges is good - hurray! xxx
