Hi all,

Im interested to know if you have chocolate cysts can you still fall pregnant or do you need to have surgery to remove the cysts before you try to conceive?

I had a chocolate cyst that bursted 3 weeks ago and resulted in 100mls of free blood, I now have another cyst measuring at 36mm which is known as the "chocolate cyst". Should I get the cyst removed or leave it? I'm so confused!!!!!

Please help

Hi- i have an 8cm choc cyst and managed to conceive, although it did take a long time!

I dont think drs will remove unless its over 5cm and even then they may not as my gp&gyn both refused to do any treatment for mine even though ny pain was severe.

I was diagnosed with a large one when I went for IVF. The dr told me I needed it removed & I fell pregnant the next week! They ended up removing it with my c-section. They told me I wouldn't conceive until I had it removed though so anything is possible! Good luck
